“Well, you seem to have been quite the busy traveller, not that that’s really a surprise!” he said, laughing. His face fell a little, but he kept his smile.
“Oh, you know… I’ve been better… Just got out of that little event with the TARDIS and the Dream Lord…” He knew Alex would remember. It wasn’t an event he would forget easily. He stuck his hands in his pockets, wanting to change the subject. “So! How about that adventure you promised me?!”
“Dream Lor—” The Doctor nodded remembering who the fellow was. “Ah, yes I remember him, tried to wear bow tie, failed at it, and also made me think Pond was pregnant. It was horrib—” He perked up hearing the word adventure. “Yes, That sounds like fun! Nothing like a good adventure, well unless its with Rivers. Then er..Its..odd. And there he went mentioning the infamous “Rivers” again. He looked forward to the day he would finally meet her. “Yes!” he said, clapping his hands and rubbing them together. “So, where should we go?”
The Doctor smiled. He sometimes thought it was odd how being around the future version of himself made him happy, but he...
“Dream Lor—”...nodded remembering who...fellow was. “Ah, yes...
laughing now. It felt good to laugh again — well, until...stomach would start
