It's Just "The Doctor", [The Doctor/Twilight]

[Twilight happily took his hand, giving off the more trademark smile that she had, even if it was nowhere near pinkie pie’s level of hyperactive overzealous happiness that was very infectious. It was more of one that showed off her excitement for doing something that she loved, which was reading.]

That sounds great! Hopefully I’ll have these bandages off in a week or two.

[Twilight said that with a reassuring tone to her voice, trying to reassure herself and to him that it would happen. As they walked out, they were greeted with shelves upon shelves of books. One not informed enough would call this a mini library in itself. ]

Right, let’s see…D…D…Daring-Do, uh, I think it’s over here!

[Twilight pointed at the third bookshelf on the back wall, which was the bulk of the books. Sure enough, the entire series of books was there, and she was very proud to own them. She even made a squeaking sound as she pronounced that she had owned the series since it came out.]

The Doctor had of course seen her library before, but it always impressed him to see someone who loved books so much. He would always run his hands along the spines, all well worn from multiple readings, as he walked past them all. And today was no exception. He wasn’t really paying any attention to the titles; he was enjoying the feeling of the books against his fingers. He looked up and walked over to her when she had found the books she was looking for.

“Daring Do. Well, like I said, I have to say I’ve never heard of them before. Sounds sort of like an adventure series, if I had to make a guess. Sure must be good if you own all of them so proudly of course!”
